Description This is a collection of soil analytical values, GPS locations, and field condition near infrared (NIR) spectra collected on the CSIRO Boorowa Agricultural Research Station (BARS) long term trial (LTT) immediately prior to differentiation of land use. (Pre-sowing 2022).

The first row is a header of column names.
Columns 1:8 represent the sampling metadata of the soil samples, including the Sample ID, core number and coordinates (in WGS 84), depth bounds, sampling date and date of returned analysis values.
Rows 2:627 contain samples which were selected for laboratory analysis, and Columns 9:19 contain the reported values from the laboratory analysis.
Column names in 9:19 are prefixed by the Rayment & Lyons chemical method for the soil analyte, and are suffixed by the units. Columns 20 and 21 are Sensing metadata for the NIR scans, reporting The Serial number of the Device used to scan that sub sample, and the timestamp of the specific scan. Column 22 is a dummy column to delineate the start of the reported reflectance wavelengths for each scan, and all subsequent columns represent backgrounded reflectance at a specified wavelength in nm.
