Description This dataset contains the winding geometries for two Y-axis gradient coils, denoted YG1 and YG2, designed within the paper "Experimental validation of a PNS-optimized whole-body gradient coil" published in Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.
YG2 represents a coil geometry that was specifically optimized to reduce the Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) propensity, while YG1 is a traditional symmetric gradient coil.
The geometries for both coils were uploaded in a variety of file formats, namely Matlab .mat files, .txt files (one file for the primary and secondary coil layers, resp.), and .obj surface models.
