The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)- funded Breakthrough RESEARCH project conducted quantitative household surveys among women of reproductive age to assess effectiveness of the Resilience in the Sahel Enhanced (RISE) II Integrated Social and Behavior Change approach on reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health, nutrition and water, sanitation, and hygiene outcomes. The household survey included two rounds of repeated cross-sectional surveys in 2021, and 2023 and was conducted in six intervention communes and six comparison communes in the Maradi and Zinder regions of Niger.
