Description |
Xerophilic fungus isolated from peanuts that had been stored at 9000 mg/m3 of CO2, and 0.77 water activity. The fungus was identified as Xerochrysium xerophilum, and it had only been described in dry prunes in 1966 and in chocolate in 1997.
