Description Hydrogen as fuel has been a promising technology towards climate change mitigation efforts. Having this said, this work analyses the contribution of the technology to future global environmental goals. It is assumed that hydrogen is being produced in higher efficiency across time, as it is indicated to hydrogen source code and this is simulated on Global Change Assessment Model (GCAM) v4.3. The environmental restrictions applied are the expected emissions Representative Concentration Pathways (RCP) 2.6, 4.5, and 6.0.
