Description The purpose of the MROS: FSWs Round Two was to answer the question:Among the identified population of female sex workers in known high risk meeting places in Nepal, what determines consistent condom use in terms of opportunity, ability and motivation? The study conducted in September-October 2005 amongst 1,110 female sex workers, via a structured questionnaire interview process. The sample was representative of FSWs in known high risk meeting places in Nepal, and the information was collected through a multi-stage cluster process. An MROS: FSWs Round Two pilot was undertaken prior to the main study, with findings used to conduct reliability analysis and to refine the measurement tool for the full study. The study is based on the assumption that geographically, high risk meeting places constitute the priority areas for the HIV/AIDS social marketing intervention in Nepal.
