Description |
Several plant parasitic nematodes are associated with black pepper in major growing countries including India. Among them, burrowing nematode (Radopholus similis) and root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne sp.), causing slow decline disease of black pepper are quite important. Significant reduction in growth and yield was observed in black pepper plants infested with varying populations of nematodes. |
