Description

Concurrent sexual relationships, particularly when those relationships are in part commercial in nature, put men at high risk of HIV. Low rates of condom use within marriage also expose the wives of these men to a risk of HIV. For this reason, the respondents in this study are referred to throughout as High Risk Urban Men.

In November 2009, the second round study was conducted to monitor changes in behavioral indicators over a 12 month period, and to estimate levels of exposure to PSI
's behavior change communications (BCC) campaign with high risk urban men, and their awareness of HIV prevention products and services.
