Description Introduction: Tobacco related diseases contributed to 27, 200 Malaysian deaths annually. The prevalence of electronic cigarette (EC) use among Malaysian adolescents showed an increase from 9.8% in 2017 to 14.9% in 2022. Understanding nicotine dependence is crucial to assist in EC cessation. Hence, this study attempts to assess the nicotine dependence using three different standardised questionnaires among EC users in PPR Sri Pantai, Kuala Lumpur.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted among EC users aged 18 years and above.
