Description Excerpt from Interdisciplinary Qualifying Project at WPI: "The overarching goal of the ARRL ham radio courses is to engage students in an active STEM-oriented field where they have everyday experience, whether they realize it or not. The objective of these course materials is to prepare the students to take and pass the ham radio license examination from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Along the way, they will engage with topics in Public Safety, Communications, Electrical Engineering, Atmospheric Science, Space Science, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science. The quiz generator fulfils a part of this goal by introducing the students to all the topics on the exam."
