These data support the results of a study to evaluate Anaplasma phagocytophilum, Babesia caballi and Theileria equi as etiological agents in horses with clinical manifestations suggestive of piroplasmosis, in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, through molecular analysis; data from 45 equine blood samples were included (sex, breed, age, city of origin, qPCR results, clinical signs, blood count and serum biochemistry results).
