The over-reliance and W1ilateral use of synthetic insecticides has created serious consequences such as insecticide resistance and resurgence. apart from phenological and biochemical changes in cotton plant. The plant height in neem treatment was significantly more than in synthetic insecticides / Bt treatment _ and control. More green bolls were retained in plots sprayed with synthetic insecticides. Delay in maturity of green bolls was noted in Bt treated plots. There' was signifteant reduction in phenol content of leaves and squares of plants sprayed with synthetic insecticides. followed by plants sprayed with synthetic plus natural insecticides.
