Present paper incorporates salient findings from a well-planned field experiment that was undertaken during summer season of 2021 at Agronomy experimental farm under B. A. College of Agriculture, AAU, Anand (Gujarat). The influence of irrigation scheduling and nitrogen management on growth and yield attributes of transplanted summer pearl millet is investigated for middle Gujarat conditions. Results from 15 treatment combinations with three levels of irrigation schedules based (I1 : 0.6 IW: CPE ratio, I2 : 0.8 IW: CPE ratio, and I3 :1.0 IW: CPE ratio) as main plot treatment are presented which incorporates 5 nitrogen (N) management treatments too (N1 : 100% N through Urea, N2 :100% N through FYM, N3: 75% N through Urea + 25% N through FYM + Bio-NPK consortium, N4 :50% N through Urea + 50% N through FYM + Bio-NPK consortium, and N5: 25% N through Urea + 75% N through FYM + Bio-NPK consortium). These were relegated in sub plot treatment tested under split plot design with three replications. The results showed that, treatment I3 (1.0 IW:CPE ratio) recorded significantly higher plant height (108.74 cm @50 DAT and 164.88 cm @harvest), number of total (37.37) and effective tillers (32.59), grain yield (4593 kg ha-1) and straw yield (7116 kg ha-1) of pearl millet. Whereas, nitrogen management treatment N4 (50% Nitrogen through Urea + 50% RDN through FYM + Bio NPK consortium) recorded significantly higher plant height (111.42 cm at 50 DAT and 166.16 cm at harvest), total tillers (43.03) and effective tillers (36.31) per meter row length, grain yield (4559 kg ha-1) and straw yield (7060 kg ha-1).
