Description The irrigation water quality index (IWQI) in Navsari Taluka has been used as an effort to comprehend the quality of groundwater. Total 75 groundwater samples were taken from18 villages during the premonsoon season (during May 2019) and the post-monsoon season (during November 2019). The IWQI values ranged from 25.29 to 82.27 during the pre-monsoon season, and from 9.98 to 85.45 during the post-monsoon season. Prior to the monsoon, the majority of groundwater for agricultural purposes was classified as moderately or severely restricted. Following the monsoon, however, a large amount of groundwater was improved to a low to moderate degree of limitation. As a result, seasonal changes in groundwater composition have had a significant impact, with irrigation water quality indicators improving during the post-monsoon period compared to the pre-monsoon period.
