L6 supplemented with 2.0 mg benzyladenine and 0.5 mg IAA/litre resulted in as many as 134 shoots after 3 subcultures. Root induction was best on Kumar's rooting medium supplemented with 0.2 or 0.5 mg IBA/litre.
