Description |
During the 1986-87 crop season in India, a survey was carried out to identify hosts of Aphis craccivora, a vector of bean leaf roll luteovirus (BLRV) which causes stunt of chickpea [Cicer arietinum]. The commonly occurring perennial weed T. terrestris was found to be extensively colonized by A. craccivora from Nov. to Feb. The weed also serves as a reservoir for BLRV.
