Subject Pigeonpea

Description High pigeon pea biomass was observed in early sowings, in plants grown under conditions of well-distributed rainfall, high fertility, freedom from weeds, good drainage and low density, and in long duration cultivars and perennial plants. High plant biomass was associated with increased susceptibility to wilt caused by F. udum, due to increased water demand by the plant.
