Description |
Seed treatment with 10, 15 or 20 krad γ rays significantly increased mean seed oil content in Bragg (M2 vs. untreated controls), but not in Type 49. The highest dose gave a mean content of 22.7% (range 17.1-26.0%), vs. 20.5% in the control. Variance for oil content significantly increased only in Bragg treated with 20 krad.
