| Abstract/Description: | Application of 50 kg P2O5/ha is optimum for Onion Cv. Pusa Red in obtaining high yield. The uptake of sulphate by onion was increased with the increase in applied phosphorus. Highest P dose minimized the total weight, sprouting and rotting losses in onion stored for six months. |
