| Abstract/Description: | An experiment was conducted on intercrop combination of various crops with upland paddy Nagaland Special at ICAR Research Farm, Jharnapani during 2003 and 2004. Highest yield advantage was observed in Paddy + Urd Bean in paired row arrangement in both years with LER of 1.55 and 1.52 respectively. Maximum individual crop yield in intercrop combination of paddy was recorded 41.15 and 46.31 q/ha and that of intercrop Urd bean, 6.80 and 5.210 q/ha respectively in both years. There was nearly, 50% yield advantage in Paddy + Urd bean over sole paddy. |
