Coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) is an important seed spice crop grown extensively in India and Indian sub continent for its pleasant herbal aroma and used in traditional Asian cuisine. Apart from its culinary use it has significant medicinal qualities whether used as leaves or intact seeds in ground form. Various literatures are available for its uses. Many studies conducted to signify coriander uses as medicinal crop. In present review such work based on authentic scientific background were collected and discussed for adoption of this crop as a potential source of high value phytochemicals. Not Available |
